Project Safety

We help victims of crime navigate the legal system

What We Do

ELAP’s Legal Navigator supports victims of crime, especially people who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault, as they navigate a complicated legal system. In partnership with the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, we serve as a liaison to connect recent victims of crime with legal aid providers and social service agencies that can help them stabilize their lives and prevent being further victimized.

ELAP’s Legal Navigator works out of the King County Courthouse in Seattle.
