Drumroll… we have two new ELAP staff attorneys who we can’t wait for you to meet!
Vade Donaldson (he/him), JD, is joining us as a Housing Stability Program Staff Attorney. Vade’s background includes experience as an attorney at a private law firm, adjunct professor, program manager for the Washington State Farmers Market Association, and as a public defender. He also served as a Tribal Attorney for the Suquamish Tribe. Vade has a Masters of Law from the University of Arkansas and a JD from Golden Gate University. He has volunteered in a variety of capacities including with tenants, as a volunteer attorney, and board member.
Nida Javed (she/her), JD, is a Domestic Violence Legal Program Staff Attorney. Nida previously worked at Snohomish County Legal Services and a private law firm. She has volunteered as a pro bono attorney with ELAP, New Beginnings, and the Family Violence Appellate Project. Nida earned a law degree from Seattle University, where she received the Pro Bono Pledge Outstanding Service Award. She is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
