Keynote Speaker: State Representative My-Linh Thai

Rep. Thai is the deputy majority leader of the House Democratic Caucus and a member of the Civil Rights & Judiciary Committee, Finance Committee and Healthcare and Wellness Committee. As a Civil Rights & Judiciary Committee member, Rep. Thai has championed legislation to protect renters, support working families, and address gender-based violence. At the age of 15, My-Linh Thai immigrated to Washington state as a Vietnamese refugee with her family. She graduated with honors from Federal Way High School and the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. She is proud to be the first refugee elected to serve in the Washington State House of Representatives.
