We recently welcomed two new staff to the ELAP team.
Meet Marlene and Vivian, who both started at ELAP as volunteers!
Marlene Dzib (she/her) is ELAP’s new Intake Coordinator. She will manage incoming requests for legal help, screen clients for eligibility, and connect clients to our services. Marlene was part of our internship program last year. She earned bachelor’s degrees in both Legal Studies and Political Science from Florida Gulf University and has extensive volunteer experience.
Vivian Lee, JD, MPH, (she/her) is our new Legal Director. This new position will oversee all of ELAP’s legal programs, including managing our staff attorneys, engaging with the legal community, recruiting pro bono and contract attorneys, directing our CLE program, and mentoring new staff and volunteers. Vivian started at ELAP in 2014 as a volunteer, then served as an ELAP legal fellow, and finally as a staff attorney for two years. We’re so pleased to have her back at ELAP! Vivian received her law degree from Boston College and also has a Master’s in Public Health from Yale.
We’re thrilled to have them both at ELAP.
